Mojito Shoe by Julian Hakes

These shoes are constructed out of one strip of material that is meant to go around the wearer’s foot and are the brainchild of British architect Julian Hakes.  Who said that fashion and architecture are not related? There is no support for the area between the heel and the ball of the foot which may prove to be a bit problematic for some fashionistas, but then again, if you're like me you wouldn't really care about the comfort. When it comes to shoes, the look is everything! If you want comfort there's always Crocs and Birkenstock (I have a post dedicated to it). The shoes have made their debut at this year’s London Fashion Week where they featured at the shows of Ann Sofie Back and Ana Zanditon.
