I love YSL arty rings
I think that Arty rings by Yves Saint Laurent that come in a whole array of colours and finishes are the best way to add that little bit of drama to any outfit and emphasise a pefect manicure. They are a good investment but be warned, the prices have gone up by 25 pounds since last year so lets hope that YSL is not planning to go all Chanel on us...
Rings - Yves Saint Laurent
Bracelets - Topshop and a far away place somewhere in South America
Nail polish - Rimmel 280 sunshine

Power blazers!
In this outfit, I'm combining my three favorite things - white, royal blue and leopard print. Not forgetting the neon pink lipstick of course.

Obsession of the moment: Gem colored clothes!
I don't know if it happens to you, but I've noticed that my taste in colors seems to change every few months. These days I seem to be attracted to anything purple/fuchsia/emerald green/sapphire blue. Bright colors help me to delude myself into thinking that summer has finally hit London. The night when the above photos were taken, the weather was more appropriate for jeans and wellingtons rather than a silk maxi and sandals but i refuse to conform to this psycho climate! June/July is marked down as "summer" in my diary and is therefore nonnegotiable.

Pleats please!
I'm loving, adoring, obsessing over the weather in London these days! If you decided to go out of town during the longest weekend of the year, I've got two words for you: BIG MISTAKE. Gone are the boring tights and leggings (at least for now) and my sun-starved limbs are finally getting some natural vitamin D. I've been looking for the pefect midi skirt for ages and have finally found a pleated number in a nice nude colour. I wanted the skirt to be the statement piece of the outfit which is why I teamed it with a plain black tank top, black and nude wedges, which by the way are fairly comfortable, and turquoise accessories. I have never worn midi skirts before so the sensation of fabric brushing against my legs as I walked was a completely new and strange experience. Sheer midi skirts feel so romantic and feminine. As the temperature goes up, let our hemlines go a little bit further down than usual, my darlings. Fingers crossed it stays this way.

Old jumper is back with a vengeance!
My innate reluctance to throw old clothes has proved to be right once again! The vision of my mother with a bin bag approaching my closet sends me into cold sweat and I throw myself in front of it, ready to protect it with my life (ok exaggeration). The beauty of this black wooly jumper is that I don't actually remember where it came from, it just ended up on a top shelf on the right with all the tracksuits. I have been wearing it around the house for the past 6 years or so and have never thought that it would ever make its way out of the confines of the house. But Alas! This year, during my Christmas break in Cyprus, I have had a revelation whilst rummaging through my lounge-wear. It's black, it's baggy, it's grudge-y and technically vintage! It's so "Nirvana groupie". What would Mr Marc Jacobs say if he saw it being abused by me for so many years? I have been looking for a jumper like this for a long time in London but could never find anything that was just right. I have even visited a few vintage shops which is an accomplishment in itself since I like vintage but would never wear it myself unless I knew exactly where the piece came from. So here it is, meet the abused jumper, teamed up with camel leggings, black suede wedges and golden accessories. I promise I'll be nice from now on.
